Share Your #IWillFor911Day Story

Each year on Sept. 11, Americans across the country step forward to serve in honor of those lost and the heroes who responded. Hanover County is proud to partner with local nonprofits for this year’s 9/11 National Day of Service, offering meaningful ways for County employees and community members to give back and make a difference.

Whether you're volunteering through Hanover County’s Day of Service or finding your own way to give back, we want to hear from you.

Did you organize a food drive? Help a neighbor in need? Host a cleanup or support a local nonprofit? We want to hear how you gave back from Sept. 6 through Sept. 13.

Whether your service project was individual or done with a group — a business, nonprofit, church, community organization or even your own family — every act of service matters and helps strengthen our community.

Use the form below to share your photos, stories and reflections from your service project. Together, we can inspire others and show how Hanover is making a difference.

To sign up for Hanover's 9/11 Day of Service, vist our projects page here. Let’s honor the spirit of unity, resilience and compassion — one act of service at a time.
