Hanover County's "I Voted" Sticker Contest
Hanover County's "I Voted" Sticker Contest
Design the next Hanover County "I Voted" sticker!
A sticker is a small way to celebrate a big civic action — and Hanover County wants you to help design the next one!
Through November 30, Hanover residents of all ages can submit an original design for a future “I Voted” or “Future Voter” sticker. Four winning designs will be selected and used on stickers distributed during upcoming elections.
There are four categories:
- Elementary school students: “Future Voter” sticker
- Middle school students: “I Voted” sticker
- High school students: “I Voted” sticker
- Hanover residents: “I Voted” sticker
Students and residents can submit their designs online using the form below. Students may also submit their designs through their school, where they will be collected and delivered to the Hanover County Voter Registration and Elections team.
Residents may also drop off designs at the Voter Registration and Elections Office in the Wickham Building, 7497 County Complex Road.
After submissions close, judges will narrow the entries to a group of finalists. The community will then have the opportunity to vote for the winning designs.
Four winners — one from each category — will be selected. Winners will have their designs turned into official stickers and will be recognized at a 2027 Hanover County Board of Supervisors meeting.
Keep your design creative, original and appropriate for all ages. Designs should celebrate voting and civic participation and remain nonpartisan. Templates can be found here.
This contest is hosted by Hanover County's Voter Registration and Elections Office. For questions or more information, call 804-365-6080 or email hanovervoting@hanovercounty.gov
